are getting married!
June 26th, 2015
Jane is a professional web designer (maybe you could tell she designed this website) and owns a media services company called Eyeth Studios, LLC. She loves making messes in the kitchen, growing her own vegetables, and outdoor adventures of all kinds. She's from Berkeley, California, and shares a home with Laurie and five pets.
Laurie works for Gallaudet University, our Alma Mater, as the associate registrar in the University registrar's office. She's from Oklahoma City, and loves her Thunder (particularly Durant!). Her hobbies include photography with her beloved Canon, planting flowers in the front yard, soaking in the hot tub, and traveling.
Come and meet everyone... our families and your fellow guests at this beautiful kickoff to an awesome destination wedding week! Drinks and appetizers will be served.
We're having a party on the beautiful island of Jost van Dyke in the BVI. JvD is "swim-in" only, so be prepared to get wet... (and probably drunk!)
Spend the day with us all enjoying the beautiful beaches of St John. There are over a dozen idyllic spots, and we will take you to some of our favorites!! BYOB!
The big day is here! We will celebrate on the deck of our beautiful villa with a gorgeous view of the Caribbean ocean. We can't wait to have you with us!
After the wedding ceremony, we will have an informal reception with drinks and appetizers. Celebrate with us as the sun goes down over the Caribbean!
This is an all day trip to some of our favorite spots in the British Virgin Islands. We'll hike the Baths, have lunch on Cooper Island and snorkel at the Indians!
We recommend looking through VRBO.com for potential homes to rent. These tend to be cheaper and more comfortable than hotels. Contact us directly if you would like suggestions of potential friends to rent with.
The Westin is a nice property situated nearby Cruz Bay, making it an easy drive for those who are new to St John. Ask for the newly renovated rooms. It is nice for families especially, with activities for children. Lots of iguanas!
Founded by Nelson Rockefeller, this over-the-top resort has private beaches, excellent seafood, but small and older rooms with an expensive price tag. The grounds alone make it worth it!
Those who are adventurous and enjoy camping will love Cinnamon Bay, which sits on the beach and has cabins and campsites that are very rustic, but also very inexpensive.
